 "Thoughtful Little Animals" it is an allegory that teaches children the importance of taking turns. The setting is on a small farm in southern Minnesota where the owls decide that they will remain in charge of making all of the rules until they die or get tired of making rules. The allegorical key addresses the idea of term limits in the U.S. Congress; the pros and cons of having / not having term limits for congressional members.
